So rarely do I actually post as myself and not Luci but I couldn't figure out how she would tell you her favorite phrases?! Plus, since I've been such a slacker on the blog I thought I would give everyone an update on our favorite little princess. As she is about to turn 2, she is probably one of the funniest and most enjoyable little people I've ever been around (of course I am quite biased :) She does have her moments and lately has been exhibiting quite a demanding little personality but really would you expect any different coming from the two of us?! She is a non-stop chatter box and for those of you who don't get the pleasure of spending every day around her, here are a few of our current favorite Luci-isms:
"I need this" - she says this instead of "want" clearly illustrating that there is no genuine difference - a little shopper after my own heart...
"This is my favorite" - She usually says this after you give her something, for instance strawberries at dinner tonight - "thank you mommy, these are my favorite" the funny thing is she says this about EVERYTHING!
"Friends 1-2-3" - this is supposedly her "favorite" song, but I really think it is, because although she sings all the time this is the one song she sings the most. Its really quite adorable and she tells you during it that your her friend...v. cute.
"That's very hard mommy" - this one came about while reading her current favorite book, I SPY, when she is looking for something in the picture...you have to hear it to really appreciate.
"Music Truck" - this is the ice cream truck which we discovered in the new neighborhood about a month ago. Initially I tried to play it off as just a truck that plays music, but with a little help from daddy that theory was quickly changed!
Her Entourage - ok this isn't something she says just one of her most quirky personality traits...she has to have at least 2-3 things with her at all times. One is almost always her little snuggie blanket and most recently we have been traveling with a mini Snow White and a Pink Princess ornament. She refers to these items as her friends and will go so far as to make sure she is not only holding my hand but also theirs when crossing the street. It is hysterical as well as challenging because keeping track of a toddler can be tough at times...add in all her friends and its a regular circus!!

21 Month Photo Shoot?!
Ok, so were getting a little off on the timing of these photo shoots - but we were actually trying to get a family shot for my Nonno, here's some of the favorites....
Pre-Party
Well, the big #2 birthday is on the way and in typical fashion my gal pals and I all got together to celebrate! We had a wonderful time at the Aubry's cooking out and eating lots of yummy treats! Speaking of treats I also got a fantastic present from Tallulah that was a heart shaped faux candy puzzle, which I totally loved!! Thanks Lulah, I really liked it! Thanks too Julie, Tom and Ashlyn for such a great party!!
