One of the rare times Luci would actually let me get a pic of the two of them together....she loves her baby sis and is so sweet with her but is really weird about getting her picture taken. I chalk this up with the 8 billion other things I don't understand about 2 yr olds.

The Girl Loves to Bake

Like me Luci loves to "help" out in the kitchen. But make no mistake, I was not actually cooking these brownies myself, Sara is our resident baker in this house....I was teaching Luc how to get every last bit of chocolate out of the bowl with a spatula. Much more efficient than a spoon.

(Please also note that this is Luci's favorite dress....not only does it seem like its the only thing she is ever wearing in pictures, but she has also insisted on wearing it the past 3 Mondays to school. I promise she has other options....)

The Great Blog Takeover

Hi Everyone! (Or maybe just "one" - given that I update this so infrequently I'd be surprised if anyone ever checks it anymore...) At any rate, this is Nicole speaking (typing) and I wanted to let you all know that I am staging "the great blog takeover." It has been wonderful for the past two and a half years interpreting what our sweet little Luci is thinking about the world around her, but I assure you these days she is more than happy to tell you herself! (Not to mention I have no idea how to speak for both of them and keep the blog time even...) So, I'm changing the format and from now on will just be typing as myself, but will be sure to include all the cute pics and quotes from the girls as they come along....stay tuned am hoping to get some new pics up soon!
